Little Steps is a website thatprovides a step-by-step guide to eating well and being active. OgilvyOne Worldwide commissioned Bluebloc to develop the Content Management System for the HSE, SafeFood and the Health Promotion Agency. The project launched in early April 2009 and is backed by a major nationwide TV and radio advertising campaign. The goal of the website is to encourage parents and children to eat well and take plenty of exercise, helping families to adopt a healthier lifestyle, one little step at a time.
The website features a powerful member management module in addition to several bespoke web applications such as the weekly mealplanner that enables the user to search a database of healthy meals, add them to a weekly meal plan and then have his/her chosen diet analysed. The site also features a searchable database of tips for healthier living and a facility for saving these tips to the user’s ‘favourites’. It is powered by the ExpressionEngine Content Management System.
